Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026  ·  Effective immediately upon use

1
Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service are between you and QuickKeep. By installing QuickKeep, creating an account, or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use QuickKeep. These terms apply to all users — free, Pro, and Team plan subscribers.

2
What QuickKeep Is

QuickKeep is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to save webpages, videos, and online resources with personal notes attached. Free users store data locally on their device. Pro and Team subscribers store data securely in the cloud to enable cross-device sync and collaboration features.

3
User Accounts

Free users are not required to create an account. Pro and Team subscribers must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or use someone else's account without permission.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement.

4
Free Trial and Subscriptions

When you create a QuickKeep account, you receive a 7-day free Pro trial — no credit card required. During the trial you have full access to all Pro features including sync, unlimited saves, search, and export. At the end of the trial your account automatically reverts to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe.

Paid plans (Pro and Team) are billed on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

The free trial exists so you can experience the full product before committing. We encourage you to use it fully before deciding to subscribe.
5
Refund Policy

If you believe you have been charged in error by QuickKeep — for example, charged after cancellation, charged twice, or charged the wrong amount — you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge and we will correct it in full.

How to request a refund Contact us within 14 days of the charge via the Chrome Web Store support link. Include the email address on your account and a description of the billing error. We respond within 48 hours and process all valid refunds promptly.

Refunds are issued for genuine billing errors only. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges — you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.

6
Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan. Your saved data is not deleted upon cancellation; it remains accessible on the free plan up to the free tier limit.

7
Acceptable Use

You agree to use QuickKeep only for lawful purposes. You must not use the extension to save, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of others. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or its backend systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8
Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you save using QuickKeep — your URLs, notes, and any content you store. We do not claim any rights over your saved content. Free users' data is stored entirely on their local device. Pro and Team users' data is stored securely in the cloud to enable sync features.

We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any form. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9
Service Availability

We aim to keep QuickKeep running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service downtime.

10
Limitation of Liability

QuickKeep is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension or service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of QuickKeep shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11
Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers via email for material changes. Continued use of QuickKeep after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
